Not a Promoter. A Brand.
Clints Fest wasn't born from a promotions company or a festival group. It came from a streetwear label. Clints—the Manchester-born brand that grew from a bedroom sneaker project into one of the UK's most culturally relevant fashion labels—decided to celebrate five years by doing what it does best: bringing people together.
The result was a one-day fashion and music festival at Barton Aerodrome, headlined by Mike Skinner, with a lineup spanning grime, rap, R&B, amapiano, and afro-fusion. Three stages. Three thousand people. And an audience that didn't just attend—they showed up dressed in the brand, invested in the culture, and expecting the details to match.
For festival bar operations at this scale, the challenge isn't volume—it's standard. When a brand with this level of cultural credibility puts its name on a festival, every touchpoint has to feel intentional. The bars included.
First Edition, Full Expectation.
A debut festival has no safety net. There's no "last year's data" to plan from, no tested site layouts to fall back on, and no established operational rhythm. Everything is being built for the first time.
Clints Fest needed a bar operation that could match the brand's identity—curated, quality-driven, and culturally on point—while still functioning at festival pace. The drinks programme included brand partnerships with Jubel, Hennessy, Toico Tequila, and Red Bull. We're talking tequila slushies, Hennessy cocktails, Red Bull mixes, and a bespoke Hennessy-sponsored artist bar serving XO cocktails.
On top of this, we delivered a post-mix solution with Festina across the bars to deliver a broad range of mixers—from Pepsi and lemonade to ginger beer and grape soda—giving the drinks programme real depth without the logistical headache of managing endless bottled stock.
And then there was everything else. The food concessions needed managing. The EPOS system needed running. And once the gates opened, the merch operation needed staffing too. For a debut event, the scope kept expanding—and we were ready.
The Full Picture.
Clints Fest needed an operator. We took ownership of the bar operation end-to-end, building the hospitality infrastructure from the ground up.
The Bar Programme: We delivered the full bar operation across multiple positions, managing brand partnerships and ensuring the product range—from draught beer to Hennessy XO cocktails and tequila slushies—serving to the standard those brands expect. A bespoke Hennessy-sponsored artist bar gave the headline partnership a dedicated physical presence on site.
The Drinks Infrastructure: We implemented post-mix systems across the bars, giving the operation a wide-ranging mixer programme without the stock complexity. Pepsi, lemonade, ginger beer, grape soda—the range matched the eclectic, Afro-Caribbean flavour of the event itself.
The Team: We deployed bar managers, bartenders, and a dedicated VIP team alongside a stock replenishment crew to keep the operation flowing. Every role was briefed to the tone of the event—this wasn't a corporate hospitality gig; it was a cultural moment, and the service needed to reflect that.
The Food Concessions: Beyond the bars, we managed the food concession operation, bringing a fun Afro-Caribbean twist that complemented the festival's cultural identity.
The Reactive Flex: When the merch operation needed staffing on the day, something not originally in our scope, we absorbed it. We deployed team members to merchandise positions and kept the retail side running alongside everything else. When the brief changed, we adapted in real time.
Full EPOS: We ran the complete EPOS operation across the event, ensuring clean transaction data and efficient service at every point of sale.
Built Like the Brand.
Clints Fest needed its hospitality to feel like part of the experience, not a bolt-on. By operating the bars, the food, the merch, and the systems behind them, we ensured the entire guest-facing operation ran as one cohesive unit.
For a debut festival born from a fashion brand, there was no room for the hospitality to feel generic. Every cocktail, every mixer, every interaction had to carry the same energy as the stages and the streetwear. We built an operation that matched it.
The brand launched its festival. We made sure the bars were ready for takeoff.
